Dinner – 晩ごはん

Grilled green chili pepper, bonito flake topping- 青唐辛子焼き鰹節のせ

It’s green chili season. I bought seasonal ones at a roadside station in the suburbs. Lightly toasted in a toaster oven until the color does not change, and sprinkled with bonito flakes. Add soy sauce before eating.

“Kushiyaki”(grilled on stick) of eel liver – うなぎの肝の串焼き

There was eel liver skewers at the supermarket, so I bought some and took them home. It is a delicacy. Put them on a plate and warm them in the microwave. A little bitter and very tasty.

“Tataki” of bonito and tomato salad – カツオのたたきとトマトのサラダ

Slices of “Tataki” of bonito (seared bonito) served on tomato salad with cucumber and lettuce. Place some chopped green onions on top and drizzle with a soy sauce-based sauce.

I ate bonito tataki with salt and pepper and olive oil in a carpaccio style. The scent of olive oil and the salt and pepper matched the flavor of the bonito, giving it a different taste.鰹のたたきを、塩コショウとオリーブオイルをかけて、カルパッチョ風にして食べてみた。オリーブオイルの香りと塩コショウが鰹の味とマッチして、違った美味しさを味わえた。
